Addison Airport U.S. CBP Coordination
Vesta Rea & Associates, LLC (VRA) was contracted to serve as subconsultant and advisor to Page Architects (designer) for the Town of Addison Airport as it worked to design and construct a new U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Federal Inspection Services (FIS) facility. The airport already possessed clearing cabailities.
Task 1: CBP Coordinator for PrimeVRA utilized its CBP network of contacts to aid in clarification of information relating to the CBP Design Specifications and to expedite the approval of the design phases by arranging CBP meetings and required workshops.
Task 2: Stakeholder Engagement VRA and Page jointly handled the numerous stakeholder meetings throughout the project.
Task 3: Funding Strategy
Task 4: Technical Information ResourceVRA supported Page in the design process, supplying requested information based on experience the consultant had obtained in overseeing the planning, cost estimates, design and construction of previous FIS facilities.
